Immunity Supplements
Detailed reviews of supplements formulated to strengthen immune defenses, reduce illness duration, and support year-round resilience.
What to Know About Immunity Supplements
Immunity supplements are used to support the body’s natural defenses — reducing the frequency and duration of illness, and maintaining immune readiness year-round. Our reviews focus on ingredient evidence, formula completeness, and whether daily or acute use is most appropriate.
Instead of accepting general wellness claims, we analyze how each formula aligns with the common causes of immune vulnerability, and whether the key ingredients are dosed at levels consistent with clinical evidence.

Foundation Nutrients First
Vitamin D3, Zinc, and Vitamin C are the most evidence-backed micronutrients for immune function. Any credible immunity supplement should include at least some of these at meaningful doses — not token amounts added for label appeal.
Beta-Glucans Are Underrated
Yeast-derived beta-1,3/1,6-glucans are among the most studied natural immunomodulators, with multiple RCTs showing reduced upper respiratory infection frequency and duration. Less marketed than elderberry, but arguably better evidenced.
Daily vs. Acute Use
Some formulas are designed for daily immune maintenance; others are better for acute use during illness or high-risk periods. NuviaLab Immune is a daily maintenance formula. Don’t evaluate a daily supplement by taking it only when you feel sick.
Immunosuppressed Individuals: Consult First
Elderberry and beta-glucans stimulate immune activity. Anyone on immunosuppressant therapy (organ transplant recipients, autoimmune patients) should consult their physician before using any immune-stimulating supplement.
